Design of a Blue LED Array for Curing Fiberglass-Reinforced Composite

Abstract: A custom LED array was fabricated using 28 LED assemblies each containing seven 470 nm chips. The array's designs and construction with be discussed. The array’s light intensity and uniformity, at different distances, will be reviewed, along with problems associated with radiometer heat up. This array was designed to photocure 1.27 cm thick impact-resistant panels.
